As the Head of Design, it was my charge to develop and uphold the organization’s brand image and the image of all properties in the portfolio. Along with a talented pool of in-house and freelance talent that I selected and coached, I managed the conceptualization and execution of new brands and innovative marketing campaigns.

Key Accomplishments:

1. Impact Leadership Conference | I led the team that spearheaded and executed our annual company conference and all ancillary events. The conference lasts a total of 4 days, involves night events, and hosts up to 150 people.

2. Annual “Maintenance Rocks” Recognition Event | I was in charge of leading the theme conceptualization and communication of this industry-standard annual event to ensure smooth execution at the property level.

3. New property acquisitions and development branding | It was my responsibility to develop new, unique brands for each new acquisition, and to uphold the integrity of existing brands along with conceptualizing the execution of innovative marketing campaigns.

4. Team leadership and development | As a hands-on leader, I took great pride in coaching and mentoring junior designers to help them succeed in their roles and careers.

As a freelance brand developer and content creator, I took great pride in helping my clients discover their unique voice and grow their visual presence across many channels, from digital platforms to physical spaces like trade shows.

Key Accomplishment:

Dolfab, Inc Presence Campaign | Dolfab was a well-established metalworking and yacht refit company with a strong local presence yet virtually no digital presence. Through a customer-centric approach, I gained a deep understanding of brand messaging needs and, with the help of a high-performance team of freelancers, crafted unique content and innovative marketing plans.

Brand Manager | InterMarine
Fort Lauderdale, FL | 2012 - 2015

It was my sole responsibility to elevate the brand’s image from a small boat dealership to a sophisticated, international yacht broker and dealer.

Key Accomplishments:

Complete brand overhaul | I successfully led the company into developing a new website, rebranded all of their sales spec sheets and other collateral to reflect their new upgraded approach, re-organized and revived their social media accounts, created engaging content for digital spaces, and designed and executed events for prospective yacht clients. I selected a new digital CRM system, developed the training materials and strategy, and led training sessions with the sales team, both as group and individually.
